I researched many belly dance teams for my wedding, given that my audience was Middle Eastern it was even more important to get authentic and experienced dancers. I am so happy that I used Sababa dance for my recent wedding. We had three dancers for a Zaffa and then a 20 minute dance show. It was beautiful and they are extremely talented group and dance perfectly like traditional Egyptian belly dancers. The crowd loved the show! We hired the Sababa Belly Dance group for an 80 person black tie affair at the fabulous Los Angeles Athletic Club! The group arrived on time and provided us with a unbelievably entertaining show!! They danced for a little over 30 minutes and even got our folks out on the dance floor with them which was hilarious!! EXACTLY the show we hoped for! We booked this group for a Middle Eastern inspired party, "Rock the Casbah" at the California Yacht Club. They were great! It was a family-friendly event and after the performance they had all of the little kids belly dancing. So much fun!! They showed up on-time, gave a fantastic show, handled the kids perfectly - everyone had fun, young and old! I highly recommend them.

Everyone at the party from young to old thought the show was amazing. Our cousin who has seen many belly dancers in her life thought Sababa put on the best show she'd ever seen. And that was the difference. This wasn't just belly dancing, this was a show! I can't recommend her enough if you want a great night of entertainment. :)

What an incredible evening! Our performer, Nar, was straight out of the Arabian Nights. Not only was she an incredibly talented and beautiful belly dancer with routines including the sword dance and the traditional candelabra wedding dance but she was wonderfully personable as well. She was playful with the adults and spent time giving the kids "quick lessons" while she performed. My guests were delighted and spoke about the experience even days after. We are looking forward to having one of your dancers "visit" our next party!
